Hope everyone had a great Easter! Mine was busy, busy, busy!
Since I dressed up yesterday, I decided to go casual today. I’ve been patiently waiting to wear a new pair of heels I bought a couple of weeks ago and decided today was the day.

I’d been looking for a pair of nude heels and I liked that these had a modest heel and zippered back. They are also a very light shade of nude which I think goes better with black and other colors.

I added my fave black skater skirt from Banana Republic (similar here). It’s my fave because it has pockets and hides a multitude of sins….including too many chocolate bunnies!
The shirt is a simple but soft denim shirt that I purchased from JC Penney. I love that it has polka dots because…why not wear polka dots if possible?! (similar here)

My earrings are from Bealles and added the pop of color to my outfit that it needed. I just could not tolerate wearing a statement necklace today – too much for a Monday. The earrings added a bit of chic to the outfit and helped finish it off a bit. (similar here and check out my boutique here!

If I could live in denim and polka dots, I probably would! Love this casual look- and I really love those pumps! I have not been able to find a pair of close-toed nude heels that I like- wish I had seen those shoes when I was out because they are perfect!!
Yeppers, me too! The hardest thing about this blog is not being able to wear the same faves over and over again (which would mean you’d see waaay too much of this denim shirt!). I must admit I am really happy with these nude heels. I’ve been on the fence about buying a pair because they seem so neutral…but I think that’s a good thing and these are interesting enough that they don’t get lost in the outfit. thank you for the comment!! 🙂 Cortneybre…
