Inspired by…the Louis Vuitton 2015 Resort Collection…

While I was casually scrolling through pictures of the Louis Vuitton 2015 Resort Collection, I decided to <attempt> to translate Nicolas Ghesquiere’s designs to my everyday look….and here’s the kicker…using pieces I already own!

The funniest thing is that I found an outfit that worked with the Collection much quicker than I expected! The yellow jacket and flowery print dress posted above immediately caught my eye. Take a look at my version of this outfit below! 

I love this dress – it’s a JCREW dress from seasons past but the style seems to be making another appearance. The jacket is from Old Navy and also a piece that I’ve owned for a couple of years. I added a JCREW statement necklace and a pair of wedges to complete the look.
