Last night, my friend and fellow blogger, LynnChic, and I attended a sneak peek event for Nina McLemore’s Spring 2015 line. It was such a fun event and I enjoyed meeting new bloggers while viewing Nina’s impressive Spring collection. Ms. McLemore recently opened her fourteenth store in Atlanta’s prestigious Buckhead area and I was delighted to be invited to the boutique!
This event was actually my first exposure to Nina McLemore. While perusing the line, I learned more about the Nina McLemore brand and was fascinated to learn she was the founder of Liz Claiborne Accessories and has dressed some of the most powerful women in the world, including Hillary Clinton!
Her line is designed with women in executive and professional positions in mind. The tailoring, style, fabrics and colors all reflect this image. It’s refreshing to find a clothing line designed by a professional woman for professional women!
I was highly impressed with the Spring line. Nina McLemore is a great brand and her clothing is a cornerstone for anyone’s closet. If you are looking to build your wardrobe with finely crafted classic pieces, this is the brand. You can truly, “Dress to Impress” with the Nina McLemore line.
These timeless staples project success and confidence. Women can be powerful, professional, accomplished and also look feminine and beautiful. Nina McLemore has designed a line that allows women to be sexy, smart, successful and stylish!
And now for the clothes! For those of you who read my blog regularly, you know how much I love color and I was happy to see an array of beautiful pinks, blues and plaids in this line. Gone are the days of black and grey suits and numbing neutrals.
My fave pieces were the beautiful Swiss Cotton Equestrian Stretch Suzanne jacket and the Plaid Silk Dupioni Cara shirt. Both pieces are spectacular; well-made and gorgeous. The Cara shirt is made of dupioni silk from India and is absolutely beautiful.
I want to thank A. Brown-Olmstead Associates for inviting me to this event! Ms. Brown-Olmstead was a wonderful hostess.
I also want to thank Liz Haddon of Nina McLemore for her hospitality and fine presentation of the Spring Line. A special “shout out” to a new-found blogger friend, Kimberly, at Be Fashionable, Be Frugal!
