I’m back.
Why is it that the one thing you love to do – just for you – is the first thing to get pushed aside when things get hectic and busy? Sigh.
Needless to say, I’ve been away from the blogging world for the last few days and I’ve missed it so. Thank goodness, my life has calmed down just enough to allow me to rejoin my virtual reality and post a few pics of my outfit of the day.
Today’s style inspiration actually came from People Style Watch magazine…the March 2014 edition.
As my world has been so crazy lately, and the weather is once again refusing to behave, I was stumped about today’s attire. It’s just too cold for Spring-wear and honestly, my mood was not one for wearing pink, or any bright, happy color.
After flipping through numerous pages and numerous, “no’s”, I stumbled upon a simple trend that I really liked.
- White skirt
- Black sweater
- Cool, eye catching heels
- Bright yellow bag (I just happened to have this lovely Kate Spade bag tucked away!)
It’s so nice when your outfit perfectly expresses your mood. I think this look is edgy but sophisticated and the yellow bag adds a little fun to the outfit!
