Kate Spade Spring Colors & a CHOiES Midi Skirt…on Cortneybre…

Everything is blooming here in the Peach State! I love the warmer weather and the sunny days. I can also finally begin to access my Spring and Summer closet and start incorporating lighter clothing into my everyday wearables.

I’ve been shopping online quite a bit lately and trying new shops and websites. CHOiES is my new obsession; I’m expecting a package of CHOies goodies soon. I bought this skirt a few weeks ago and just love it!

I realized I didn’t have a solid black midi skirt and decided to take a chance on this beauty. CHOiES is similar to Chic Wish but I do think the sizing is a little bigger (and truer). I ordered a size up in this skirt and it was quite loose so I think I can order true to my regular size on the CHOiES site which is good for my ego if nothing else!

I’ve featured this jacket before and I’m almost ready to debut the entire floral ensemble in all its beautiful glory. I loved how I could add this jacket to the outfit and it turned it into something completely different. I wear a costume of many layers, my friends. 🙂

These shoes were also a HUGE hit! I purchased them from Shoe Dazzle and let me just say..they are so comfortable and stylish!

Enjoying Spring (finally!)…a Merona top and my Firmoo glasses..on Cortneybre…

Oh the weather outside is WONDERFUL! Spring has finally sprung and I’m so enjoying life sans tights and coats!

I’m always searching for simple, comfortable tops. I seem to always be at a deficit; either too many wonderful skirts or pants and no tops or tons of fabulous tops and not a bottom to be found!

I saw this simple but cute and comfy blue and white striped top at Target last week. I loved the true blue color of the striping and thought the neckline was perfect.

If you know me at all, you know I’m not shy when it comes to wearing REALLY bright colors! Shine bright is my motto!

I also want to show off another new fave of mine! I was graciously offered to try a pair of glasses from Firmoo.

Firmoo is a global, online optical store. I was impressed with their selection, quality and value!

I especially LOVE the “Nerd Glasses” section of their website. It’s perfect for me – I love nerd chic! The glasses were delivered quickly and came in a cute, chic case.

With Spring upon us, my seasonal allergies are behaving quite badly at the moment. (Ignore those bags under my eyes…I’m dying a slow death via pine pollen). It is SO nice to be able to put on these cute glasses and still be fashionable and functional!

A beautiful CHOiES skirt….on Cortneybre…

I’ve been quite the Chic Wish fan lately but decided to branch out a little and try some new shopping sites. One of these sites is CHOiES, which is very similar to Chic Wish and just as fab. My first purchase from CHOiES was a somewhat simple and safe one. I decided on this beautiful black midi skirt you see below.

I wasn’t sure if the quality and fit would compare to Chic Wish so I played it safe with this purchase. Let me just say I was happily surprised and quite pleased with the purchase!

The dress fit perfectly, the fabric was beautiful and the cut was perfect! And…I do think CHOiES is a little cheaper than Chic Wish also! Who doesn’t LOVE that!?

I’m also trying a few new sites and will let you know how I fare with those also! I’ve ordered a couple of items from Sheinside so stay tuned for future posts and reviews! The pieces I’ve ordered are very unique and I can’t wait to style them!

For now, Chic Wish and CHOiES have served me well and I’ve many beautiful pieces to wear! I also have a cool new Chic Wish dress to feature too…I hope to have it posted soon!
